BattleVertex was founded in 2019 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who were frustrated by the lack of quality, locally-focused gaming coverage in Australia. We set out to build the most trusted source of game reviews, esports news, and tournament information for the Australian community.
Today, BattleVertex is home to over 45,000 registered community members, 12 expert reviewers, and a tournament calendar that spans every major Australian city. We are proudly independent, with no publisher affiliations that could compromise our editorial integrity.
Our reviews are written by people who genuinely love games. We spend hundreds of hours with each title before publishing, and our scores reflect honest assessments — not marketing relationships.
